Video: Gerard Butler rides his motorcycle in Malibu after 'offering to settle' a 'catastrophic' 2017 accident that nearly left him paralyzed for $5.25MIL

Gerard Butler was seen cruising the coastal enclave of Malibu on Saturday, riding his luxury motorcycle five years after surviving a 'catastrophic' accident. The freak crash occurred in 2017 and almost left the 53-year-old action star paralyzed. Butler sued the women who allegedly caused him to crash and he recently offered to settle the lawsuit, which he filed in 2019, for $5.25 million. The 300 star appeared to be enjoying himself over the weekend as he rode with a crew of fellow bikers and stopped at a gas station for refreshments. Butler certainly looked the part in a leather biker jacket, beige jeans, brown lace-up boots and black gloves. The A-list Scottish actor donned a black biker helmet when he mounted his sleek gray ride. Gerard's brown locks of hair were tousled and damp with sweat while his chiseled face sported winter scruff. According to legal documents, the Angel Has Fallen star claims that he was thrown from his motorcycle in October of 2017 after the other driver 'negligently pulled her vehicle off the curb.'
