Gisele Bundchen looks effortlessly cool in black leather pants while out in NY... as she prepares to make first Met Gala appearance without Tom Brady in 15 years

Gisele Bundchen displayed her off-duty model style as she arrived at her hotel in New York on Sunday night, ahead of Monday's Met Gala. The runway sensation, 42, rocked a pair of skintight black leather pants, along with a casual cool grey crewneck sweater, and black sneakers. The supermodel - who recently donated $1 million to fund a new playground for a Miami-based women's shelter - wore her golden blonde tresses cascading down her shoulders in light curls, and accessorized the look with a sizable black tote bag. The Vogue cover girl was seen chatting on her phone as she braved the rain while making her way to the hotel. The mom-of-two appeared to go bare-faced for the outing, showing off her naturally stunning features. The Brazilian beauty will be attending the Met Gala on Monday, and if she decides to go on her own it will mark her first time solo at the event in 15 years. It would be the first time she would appear single at the gala - also known as the Super Bowl of fashion - since 2007. In 2008 she attended with her now ex-husband Tom Brady, 45 - who was still her boyfriend at the time. The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala or the Costume Institute Benefit, is an annual fundraising gala attended by the biggest names in entertainment and fashion. It is held to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. Some regular attendees include Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and designers such as Marc Jacobs. Since 1948, stars have ascended the majestic staircase into a very exclusive party where no selfies are allowed. This year's theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, in honour of the long-time Chanel artistic director who died in 2019.
