Kelly Clarkson got fans very excited by teasing what many believe might be an imminent musical comeback on social media. The 40-year-old American Idol winner and The Voice judge hopped online on Saturday (March 25) to share a message across all of her accounts. It’s just a few emojis, but fans are reading into it as the promise that a new era is on the horizon. Based on the images she shared, it seems like a safe bet that, if she is teasing new music, it will be an emotional release potentially inspired by her divorce from Brandon Blackstock. Kelly teased fans with a wine glass, broken heart and sun emoji on Saturday afternoon. She posted the message on Twitter, Instagram, her Instagram story and Facebook. It’s worth pointing out that she did promise to deliver a new album in 2023. Social media users rushed to react to what many believe is a hint that the musical era could be starting soon. “omg new kelly is coming,” one fan wrote. “Kelly getting online to tease the NEW ALBUM ERA,” another celebrated with a gif of the singer peaking out from around her The Voice chair. “Some people wait a lifetime for a tease like this,” another wrote, putting a spin on her breakout hit “A Moment Like This.” “POV: me for the rest of the year listening to the new Kelly album,” another fan wrote, attaching an image of someone laying on the ground in the middle of a rainstorm.
