Kristen Stewart and her fiancée Dylan Meyer looked in love as they walked across the street after having dinner in Manhattan's Soho area on Friday. The Twilight actress - who recently partook in Oscars festivities - sported a casual look in a white tank top under a black jacket, blue jeans, and black Adidas sneakers. Stewart, 32, opted for a touch of purple smokey eye-makeup, styled her short raven locks messily, and accessorized with a few chunky silver chains around her neck. Meanwhile, Dylan, 35, looked effortlessly stylish in a black double-breasted long coat over black capris with a pair of shiny boots. The Moxie actress sported a natural makeup look with eyeliner and styled her blonde locks flowing over her shoulders with a center part. After her Oscar-nominated performance as Princess Diana in the critically acclaimed film Spencer, Stewart will step behind the camera for her feature-length film directorial debut in The Chronology of Water. The Snow White and the Huntsman star has been working on the film adaption of Lidia Yuknavitch's memoir The Chronology Of Water, which became a New York Times best-seller list after its 2010 release. As per Deadline, the memoir is a 'lyrical journey through a life saved by art' and centers on a young woman who 'finds her voice through the written word and her salvation as a swimmer – ultimately becoming a triumphant teacher, mother, and a singular modern writer. Stewart co-wrote the screenplay with Andy Mingo, while British actress Imogen Poots has been tapped to star as Yuknavitch in the story of her tumultuous life. In the works for over five years, the upcoming film has been a passion project for the actress-turned-filmmaker. So far, there's no official word on when the film will make its premiere. Meyer and Stewart met on a movie set in 2013 but only started dating after reconnecting in 2019. They got engaged last year but have not yet gone public with their plans for the ceremony and party. The Spencer actress revealed they were engaged in November 2021. Stewart talked about a possible wedding in January of the following year.
