Low-key Zendaya and boyfriend Tom Holland shielded their faces as they depart Venice after the actress attended glitzy Bulgari party
Zendaya put on a low-key display as she departed Venice via Marco Polo Airport with her boyfriend Tom Holland on Wednesday. The actress, 26, shielded her face with a pair of sunglasses and a protective facemask after putting on a showstopping display at the glitzy Bulgari party. Tom also, 26, attempted to fly under-the-radar, donning a black baseball cap and some sunglasses. Zendaya opted for a casual black bomber jacket with a pair of comfy wide leg trousers and Nike trainers. As she prepared to board her flight, she carried another jacket over her arm as well as a laptop. Tom wore a pinstripe denim jacket with a black T-shirt, jeans and a pair of leather Chelsea boots. The Spiderman star help out by carrying his girlfriend's Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama pumpkin print handbag. During the quick get away the couple were spotted exploring the canals of Venice on a romantic gondola boat ride, taking selfies and capturing pictures of each other against the stunning backdrop of the city. As the Hollywood glitterati descend on Cannes for its annual Film Festival this week, it has been an equally glamorous affair in Venice, as the city played host to the Bulgari party. Zendaya led the A-list arrivals at the jewellery bash, as she joined stars including Priyanka Chopra and Anne Hathaway at the Bulgari Mediterranea High Jewellery event at Palazzo Ducale on Tuesday evening. The Euphoria star looked incredible in a figure hugging black velvet gown, which was cinched at the waist and fanned out into a dramatic fishtail. Keeping the attention on her incredible dress, Zendaya wore her dark locks sleek back into a bun and accessorised with a diamond snake necklace. She completed the ensemble with a heavy black smokey-eye and a nude lip. It comes after Zendaya gave fans a unique insight into her relationship with boyfriend Tom, admitting that she still struggles to understand the actor's British accent. She claimed she often struggles to understand what Tom says and is baffled by cockney rhyming slang, despite her beau trying repeatedly to explain it to her. She told The Sun: 'I love the British accent, but as much as Tom tries to explain it to me, I will never understand rhyming slang. 'Like I understand the concept — but what do apples and pears have to do with stairs? It’s cute when he tells me all the different phrases — but I really don’t get it!'
