Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge looked in love as they attended the Chanel Cruise Show in Los Angeles on Tuesday. This marks the first time the newlyweds have attended a red carpet-event since tying the knot in France. The 24-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie - who wore three Chanel dresses during her recent wedding - looked stunningly dressed in Chanel from head to toe. The influencer styled her long blonde tresses in a ponytail and wore a white jacket with pink boa-style piping, short lace shorts, and black and white strappy heels. Her 29-year-old husband, the son of Universal Music Group bigwig Lucian Grainge, looked handsome in a navy suit over a cream sweater with cream sneakers. The duo looked happier than ever as they shared moments before entering the event as they crossed the street holding hands. The spectacular wedding took place at the luxury Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera two weeks ago. Lionel, 73, told Access Hollywood last year that he didn't need 'to vet' Elliot before he married his daughter as he's known him a long time through his father, Lucian. 'I love Elliot, I've known him since he was 12,' Lionel gushed. 'It was one of those things where I don't have to go back and check out the kid. I know who it is,' said Lionel. Lionel also revealed that Elliot asked his permission to marry his daughter. And ahead of the nuptials, Elliot shared some rare insight into his relationship with Sofia in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. When the outlet wondered how Elliot found himself romantically involved with Sofia, Grainge said, 'You can't help who you fall in love with,' The music executive then joked, 'I really try and keep the profile as low as possible.' 'My happy place is with my girl on the couch binging a TV series where we argue about which episode we're on,' he said. Sofia and Elliot started out as friends before taking their relationship to a romantic level in 2021 following her split from Scott Disick, 39. He popped the question in April 2022. Sofia officially converted to Judaism ahead of their wedding, as Elliot is Jewish. Sofia was raised as a Christian and spent two years at a Christian school, Oaks Christian. Sofia called the conversion 'one of the greatest experiences of my life.'
