Paul Mescal Explains Why He Was in His Underwear When He Met Nicole Kidman
Paul Mescal recently had the opportunity to meet Nicole Kidman and he says he was in “sweaty underwear” at the time! The 27-year-old Oscar-nominated actor opened up about the meeting while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (March 2) in Hollywood. Nicole came to see Paul in a recent performance of the play A Streetcar Named Desire on the West End in London. After the show, there was a knock on the dressing room door. “We thought it was the stage manager or something and I go to open the door,” Paul said. “It’s Nicole Kidman, and I’m standing there in, like, sweaty underwear.” “You’d think the next smart step is [to] put on some trousers, but there’s something incredibly undignified about the act of [pulling up pants].
