Robert Pattinson keeps a low profile concealing his face behind shades and a mask as he surfaces for coffee run
Robert Pattinson kept a low profile when he was spotted surfacing for a coffee run in sunny Los Angeles over the weekend. The 36-year-old Twilight star obscured his matinee idol features behind a pair of gleaming sunglasses and a surgical mask. He cut a California casual figure in a cozy-looking tan jacket zipped over a black t-shirt that complemented his shorts. For about five years now he has been romantically involved with 31-year-old model Suki Waterhouse, who like him hails from England. His latest sighting comes weeks after Suki told the Times Of London: 'I'm shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years.' She also revealed that in spite of their jet-setting careers, the pair of them have never been apart for more than two months since they became an item. 'I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I'm going back to see him,' she explained. 'Then he'll come out for a couple of days.' Suki spilled: 'I'm always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me.' The London native, who in addition to her fashion career has also broken into acting, said: 'We've always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious.' Robert and Suki have reportedly been an on-off couple since 2018 but are usually fairly private about their romance. 'If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you'd think it extremely rude,' Robert said in 2019. 'If you put up a wall it ends up better. I can't understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it's the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo,' he explained to the Sunday Times. 'The line between when you're performing and when you're not will eventually get washed away and you'll go completely mad.'
