Ryan Phillippe Celebrates Sobriety, Shares It's the Longest He's Gone Without Nicotine or Marijuana Since His Teen Years
Ryan Phillippe shared some really great news with his fans: he’s been sober for the longest amount of time since his teenage years. The 49-year-old actor celebrated the news on Instagram with a selfie, explaining his story in the caption. Ryan posted the photo with the caption, “Officially the longest I’ve gone since I was a teen without some kind of nicotine or marijuana in my system(among other things…)Feeling thankful for the freedom that comes with breaking addictions and dependency on substance. Sobriety, clarity, and spiritual connectedness feels real good.” Another fun fact about Ryan: he’s a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, and they’re playing in Thursday night football this evening.
